          V8 Vertical Windlass


          The V8 Vertical Windlass was the fi rst of Lewmar's range of superyacht windlasses. The centre shaft has a support structure built
          to withstand high loads for larger vessels up to 120 feet. The V8 gypsy is driven by a solid dog clutch that can be easily
          disconnected for controlled anchor descent via a band break. The band brake can be operated with a winch handle or remotely
          by hand wheel. The V8 is available in many options including gypsy drum and gypsy only, both in left- and right-hand confi guration
          and a full range of power options include AC, DC and hydraulic.
