STEERING SYSTEMS FOR OUTBOARD ENGINES/Z-DRIVES
A VETUS outboard engine/Z-drive steering system consists of a steering pump with non-return and pressure relief valves
and a cylinder. The cylinder is connected to the pump with nylon hydraulic hose. VETUS offers 5 different types of hydraulic
cylinders suitable for outboard motors with an output of 90 KW (125hp) up to 220 KW (300hp).

The tie bar has adjustable ends and connection bolts ( / 8”UNF).
The maximum centre-to-centre distance between the steering arms is
915mm. The bar can be easily cut to the required length.
All components of the tie bar are made of
stainless steel (AISI 316).
