Sherwood Impeller Identification Guide Impeller Puller
For 17000, 18000 & 22000
Series Impellers with
Threaded Shafts

Remove the cover and discard the no longer
required rubber cap. Insert the puller into
the threaded insert. Screw the puller against
the shaft, lifting the impeller until loose.
Twist and pull the impeller out of the pump.

Sherwood Pump Changes Effective From 2012

• 17000 Series Pumps (C Models) will have new shaft bearing & seal assembly No. 25115.
• 27000 Series Pumps (X Models) will have new shaft bearing & seal assembly No. 25115.

• 22000K Series Pumps Replaced by 3000 series pumps. The shaft and impeller are the only difference.
30000K impeller has 10 teeth and 45° spline. The 22000K impeller has 14 teeth and 30° spline.

• 18000 Series pumps replaced by 2900 series pumps. The shaft and impeller are the only difference. The
29000K impeller has 10 teeth and 45° spine, the 18000K impeller has 14 teeth and 30° spline.
• P2701X pump has been replaced by the P2708X. The P2708X has a new shaft and bearing assembly and
a new updated water seal No. 25115.
• The No. 25115 water seal kit is for new pump designs or upgraded older pump designs using the new shaft
bearing assemblies Nos. 25100, 25119 and 25120.
