This bait/livewell pump is made of glass-filled nylon and has a magnetically driven impeller. There are no parts mechanically con-
nected. The advantages of a mag drive is that a pump can ingest large amounts of debris without damage to the motor. If the
impeller becomes locked, the motor magnet breaks free and the motor continues to run at a very low amp draw. In this design, there
are no seals to burn up due to a dry running condition or motor damage due to a locked rotor. It also has an anti-airlock feature. It
will continue to pump and purge air out of the plumbing whether the boat is moving forward or sitting still. It also has another 1/2"
female IPS port for another raw water connection. Weight: 3 lbs., 12V DC. Ignition-protected.
