The RC6 windlass has a new design chainwheel to accommodate any 1/4", 6mm or 7mm marine grade chain spliced to 1/2" rope. It
has an in-line vertical gearbox and motor for quick and easy installation. The topworks can be fully disassembled utilizing the handle
and a screw driver. A huge, through deck hawse pipe ensures easy entry of the rope/chain rode into and out of the anchor locker. It
works just as well with all chain. The RC8 is about the same as RC6 except with its vertical gear box and horizontal motor works with
any 5/16" or 8mm marine grade chain spliced to 5/8" rope. The spacer tube design allows installation through virtually any deck
thickness and the multiple mounting positions and self-aligning gearbox ensure optimal location of gearbox and motor in virtually
all installation situations and is available with an optional capstan. The cone type clutch/brake mechanism permits manual, free fall
anchoring. Both INCLUDE circuit breaker isolator panel, up/down remote control panel, emergency "freefall" activation lever, and
dual direction solenoid.
