A rubber flap, inhibits the reverse flow of water into the exhaust. The fitting is
made from high pressure compression molded FRP, rubber and stainless steel
and is resistant to the corrosive sea water environment. Flap Repair Kit consists
of a rubber flapper, stainless steel plate and 2 stainless steel screws.

18-4456 is made of black neoprene and fits standard 3" exhaust pipe and can be
adjusted to fit 2-1/2". 18-4457 fits standard 4" exhaust pipe and can be adjusted
to fit 3-1/2". 18-4458 fits standard 6" exhaust pipe and can be adjusted to fit 5"
(cut area between ribs marked for 5"). For 4-1/2" exhaust cut area between ribs
marked 4-1/2".

Manufactured of investment cast 316 stainless steel for ultimate corrosion resis-
tance and strength, with a 60 durometer nitrile rubber flap to prevent backwash.
They have a full thread length to insure fit in any wall thickness. The design allows
easy installation in boat hulls of varying thicknesses, from 3/8" to 2-1/4", as used in
inboard/outboard transoms or sides of hull. Fasteners are high-grade stainless
steel and fully serviceable from outside the vessel. Complete with flapper.
