VETUS Deep Cycle battery
This type of deep cycle battery is ideal for applications such as electric propulsion.
The VEDC110TC is a group 31 “Deep Cycle / Semi-traction” battery featuring two different
connections. One set of conventional tapered battery clamp connections and one set of
threaded connection (5/16“) for cable lugs. Thicker plates inside the battery allow deeper
discharging (up to 75%) compared to conventional batteries and can be used for cyclic
applications. Because of this, the battery is very suitable for electric boating where the
battery is discharged over a longer period of time. The VEDC110TC battery is based on a
Sealed Maintenance Free battery, so the same battery chargers are applicable.
