This hose is made of fume and chemical resistant premium silicone rubber, reinforced with 3-ply woven polyester fabric. The outer
layer of silicone resists the effects of oil splash, temperature extremes, vibration and age hardening. Stays flexible and outlasts ordi-
nary hose by years. Temperature range: -67°F to +347°F. Meets SAE J2006 Class A. Smooth band hose clamps are recommended:
Fig. 9696 Constant-Torque or Fig. 3191 Aero-Seal. Recheck torque after installing while engine is still cold. Torque to 20-30 in. lbs.

This blue silicone hose is made of the same fine quality silicone compounds as in Fig. 9697. It's a lighter duty construction made
with 1-ply of braided polyester fabric. It has excellent resistance to hardening and shrinking and is unaffected by ozone and meets
SAE J20R3 Class A requirements. Smooth band clamps are recommended such as our Fig. 9696 Constant-Torque or Fig. 7714 Torro
Series. Re-check torque after installing while engine is cold. Torque to 20-30 in. lbs.
