Type 1 Series 368 A1-15 – This hose addresses rigorous EPA standards by greatly reducing hydrocarbon permeation through the
hose. Barrier Fire-Acol meets or exceeds SAE J 1527 and ISO 7840 standards. Approved by the USCG and NMMA for all pleasure
boat fuel systems: gasoline or diesel; inboard or outboard. High-burst pressure ratings allow for use in fuel injection systems.
Special layer barrier construction greatly resists permeation by even the most aggressive blends of gasoline and alcohols.
Reinforced with two spirals of high-strength synthetic fabric. Cover designed to resist heat, ozone and petroleum products.
Type 2 Series – Premium quality fire retardant marine fuel hose designed to handle alcohol enhanced gasolines. Fire-Acol Fuel Vent
and Fill Hoses (5/8" ID – 2-3/8" ID) comply with SAEJ1527 Type A2. Fire-acol is approved by the USCG and NMMA for all pleasure
boat fuel systems: gasoline or diesel; inboard or outboard. High-nitrile tube resists permeation of alcohol enhanced fuels. Fill hose
sizes feature helical wire, imbedded between fabric plies for superior kink resistance and durability. Two-ply.
